Eve II

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas
48 × 60 in

Eve II imagines a new Eve emerging amid the rise of technology and artificial intelligence. Beneath a moody sky, she considers what humanity has created and the uncertainty ahead, while the organic, vulnerable nature of being human remains in the foreground.

THE ARTIST

Steven “Grey”
Tyrrell.

Born in rural Nebraska. Creating in metro Atlanta.

Steven “Grey” Tyrrell is a multimedia artist whose practice spans painting, illustration, film, writing, typography, and design. His work explores the natural and the supernatural, the future and the nostalgic, the seen and unseen.

Through raw texture and layered symbolism, his pieces trace the emotional terrain of brokenness, transformation, wonder, and restoration.

Selected paintings have been placed in residential and commercial environments through term-based art leases.

His work has also been featured and sold at benefit auctions supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) and other nonprofit organizations.
